Who we are

Galaxy Star Education Center (GSEC), located in San Francisco, is a nonprofit school dedicated to comprehensive Chinese language learning. In addition to traditional listening, speaking, reading, and writing, the school actively develops related fields, broadens learning horizons, and offers rich language-arts programs.

The school is committed to creating a relaxed, friendly, and inspiring learning environment for children. We believe that language must be spoken and used to communicate—and that the first step toward learning Chinese well is to fall in love with it.

We cultivate students who can use Chinese with confidence: speaking with ease and writing with imagination and grace.

For children growing up in the United States, we place special emphasis on making Chinese useful and engaging.
